On August 11 Consortium members Ilene Freidman and chef Michael Lapi teamed up at the Temple Israel in Albany to prepare delicious and seasonal hors d’oeuvres made with local ingredients that served with beer from Shmaltz Brewery in Clifton Park. Panel discussions moderated by Rabbi Eligberg included the role of food in Judaism, local farm movements and foraging.
